Warranty as of December 01^st, 2008

All products manufactured and/or distributed by Oasis Windows Ltd. (herein called Oasis) are warranted for a period of twenty years (except custom color windows and patio doors) from the date delivered. This manufacturer's warranty covers replacement or repair of defective material or workmanship. This warranty will not apply to:

• Products that have not been installed in accordance with recommended procedures and good trade practices.
• Products that have been damaged by other tradesman or workers.
• Products that have been damaged as result of the structural movement or settling, product cleaning.
• Products that have been removed from original installation location.
• Products used outside Canada.

Insulated units supplied by Oasis have twenty year limited warranty credited from date of delivery. Oasis will deliver to the shipping point nearest the installation, a comparable replacement for any insulated unit which develops, during the warranty period, any material visual obstruction between interior glass surfaces. However, this warranty does not apply to the product under the following condition:

• Units used outside of Canada.
• Units that do not have four 90-degree corners.
• Units that are broken.
• Units used in ships, vehicles, commercial refrigeration or in close proximity to swimming pools.
• Units that have not been handled or installed in accordance with recommended procedures and good trade practice.
• Units that have been subjected to stresses caused by structural movement or settling.
• Units that have been subjected to stresses caused by local application of heat.
• Units that have been installed in such, a manner that adequate allowance has not been made for expansion and contraction of the unit and its supporting structure.
• Units to which a liquid set film or plastic film have been applied.
• Units that have been replaced from the original installed location.
• Replacement units beyond the original twenty years period applying to the original unit.
• Units that have been manufactured with other than, clear glass.
• Replacement labor costs.

There is no warranty, expressed or implied, statuary or otherwise, covering glass breakage, seal failure due to glass breakage, or any other damage to any insulated double-glazed sealed unit or the quality of fitness of any insulated double glazed unit for any particular purpose. Oasis's liability is limited to the replacement. Oasis reserves the right to determine what is material visual obstruction of the insulated double glazed sealed unit and whether such obstruction is a result of seal failure.

All custom color windows carry 10 years limited warranty.

Any product replaced pursuant to the above warranties becomes the property of Oasis.

The warranties described above are transferable; however, wishing to claim under this warranty, the original warranty contract must be produced.

Warranties prior to December 1, 2008 vary from 5 to 10 years inquiries on units. Anything before December 01, 2008 should be directed to our Service Manager.
